1. CALL TO ORDER

2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The School Board Chair will lead the school board and attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance.

3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Board action to approve the agenda for the meeting is expected.

4. CONSENT ITEMS
Action is requested on the following items of the consent agenda. Consent agenda items are typically adopted without discussion of the individual items because they are routine or ordinary in action.  Any consent agenda item may be removed for further discussion and deliberation by any member of the board.

4.A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes from the Regular Board Meeting and the School Board Work Session held on May 19, 2025. Recommend approval of the minutes from the meeting.

4.B. EMPLOYMENT
Recommend approval of the assignment as outlined.

4.B.8. ROCORI Secondary School custodian, Colby Homer, has resigned as a class E classified employee and will now be a class A casual on classified contract employee.

4.C. RETIREMENTS-RESIGNATIONS
Recommend approval of the following resignations and/or retirements.

4.C.1. Cold Spring Elementary Paraprofessional - Olivia Wiskow.  Resignation effective at the end of the 24-25 school year.

4.C.2. Cold Spring Elementary Paraprofessional - Jodi Guggenberger.  Resignation is effective at the end of the 24-25 school year. 

4.C.3. District Education Facility EL Teacher - Leyda Antunez.  Resignation effective at the end of the 24-25 school year. 

4.C.4. ROCORI High School science teacher - Jacob Zetah.  Resignation effective at the end of the 24-25 school year. 

4.C.5. ROCORI High School social studies teacher - James Herberg.  Resignation effective at the end of the 24-25 school year. 

4.C.6. ROCORI Secondary School Cook - Madison Linder.  Resignation effective August 25, 2025.

4.C.7. Cold Spring Elementary 5th grade teacher Belinda Walsh.  Resignation effective at the end of the 24-25 school year. 

4.D. LEAVE OF ABSENCE REQUEST

4.D.1. ROCORI Secondary School Custodian, Mike Wehseler, is requesting medical leave from May 1, 2025 to June 27, 2025 with an expected return date of June 30, 2025. 

5. ACTION
Action items receive individual attention because of the nature of the issues, the need to discuss or review the information prior to taking action, or the specific kind of action required for the item.

5.A. SCHOOLS ADVOCATING FOR FAIR FUNDING MEMBERSHIP DUES
The school district is a member in long standing with SAFF, Schools advocating for fair funding, (formerly known as SEE).  The membership dues are up for renewal and are being recommended for approval for the 2025-2026 School Year. 

5.B. MSBA RENEWAL
Renewal for Policy Services Subscription, ISD Membership, and BoardBook Subscription through the Minnesota School Boards Association is due.  Recommendation to approve as presented. 

5.C. ST BONIFACE REQUEST TO USE PROPERTY
A request for the use of school grounds for the St. Boniface Parish Festival to be held on Saturday August 9, 2025. Recommend formal approval of the request.

6. DISCUSSION ITEMS
Discussion items receive individual attention because of the nature of the issues and the need for introductory or other discussion in order to review the information prior to taking action.  This is also the agenda location for items which simply need school board review, but no formal action on the item is required.  Discussion items will typically return to the agenda at a future point for more specific action.

6.A. SUPERINTENDENT EVALUATION
The school board will discuss the beginning steps of the upcoming evaluation of Superintendent Enerson. No formal action is expected. 

6.B. TECHNOLOGY REFERENDUM 
The school board will discuss the technology referendum and the process for renewal.  No formal action is expected. 

7. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS

The Superintendent will make his report about ROCORI Public Schools.

7.B. PARAPROFESSIONAL NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE
The negotiation committee will provide an update on paraprofessional negotiations. 

8. COMMENTS AND REQUESTS FROM VISITORS
The agenda is open to visitors of the meeting to offer comments to and/or requests of the school board. The comments and requests should follow the adopted district guidelines which are printed and available at the meeting.  As a general rule, items introduced in the opportunity for comments and requests do not receive action from the School Board, but are taken under advisement or consideration for future action.

9. UPCOMING EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
A calendar of upcoming issues of concern to the school board is included as part of the agenda.
