13.5. Resolution Authorizing the Adoption of the Levy for the 2023 Levy Year
Approve the amounts to be levied for the year 2023 on the equalized assessed value for all taxable property within School District 69, Cook County, Illinois and authorize the President and Secretary of this Board to sign and file the Certification of Tax Levy, including the foregoing amounts and purposes with the Clerk of Cook County.

13.11. Donation for Community Schools
Pursuant to Board Policy 8:80, accept the donations from the District 69 PTO in the amount of $3,000 for After School Club scholarships ($1,000 per school); the Education Foundation Supporting the Students of Niles Township of $3,000 for After School Club scholarships ($1,000 per school); and the Campos Foundation of $1,000 for STEM consumable materials. |
13.12. Authorization to Dispose of Excess or Obsolete Equipment
It is recommended that the Board of Education declare the equipment detailed above as surplus equipment and authorize Administration to dispose of the same. |
14. Comments from Visitors
The President will recognize members of the audience who wish to make comments to the Board regarding any topics related to School or District business. The Board will take all comments under advisement without discussion. If a member of the public raises an issue or concern that requires follow-up, the Board President or Superintendent will do so in a timely manner. |
