13.4. Ratification of the SEA Agreement
Approval of the terms of the new collective bargaining agreement with the Skokie Education Association, effective August 21, 2023 through August 20, 2028 as presented by the Board Negotiations Committee and ratified by the SEA membership on November 10, 2023 and authorize the President and Secretary to sign the contract document on behalf of the Board.

13.9. Truth in Taxation Hearing Notice 
It is recommended that the Board approve a "Truth in Taxation" public hearing on the 2023 Property Tax Levy to be scheduled for the regular Board meeting on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Maier Administration Center Board Room, and that appropriate public notice of the hearing be given. 

13.10. Supplemental Tax Levy
It is recommended that the Board Approve the Resolution authorizing a supplemental tax levy to pay the principal of and interest on outstanding limited bonds of the District.

13.11. Transfer of Funds
It is recommended that the Board Approves the Resolution approving the transfer of funds from the operations and maintenance fund to the bond and interest fund established for the purpose of paying debt service on the Taxable General Obligation School Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2021, of the District.

13.12. Annual Abatement Resolution
It is recommended that the Board Approves the Resolution abating the taxes heretofore levied for the year 2023 to pay debt service on the Taxable General Obligation School Bonds (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2021, of the District.

13.13. School Project Maintenance Grant
It is recommended that the Board approve the application for the School Maintenance Project Grant FY24 for asbestos removal and restoration of affected areas at Madison Elementary School.

The Board will take all comments under advisement without discussion. If a member of the public raises an issue or concern that requires follow-up, the Board President or Superintendent will do so in a timely manner.
