6. Discuss - Approve / Deny the Electrical Department purchasing two (2) I-Pads for $50 each, with a $50 credit; I-Pads are at no cost. And purchase two (2) Mobile Hotspot pucks (wireless Wi-Fi) for the amount of $47; the cost will be $235 for the five (5) months. The purchase will be from AT&T (First Net).

7. Municipal Code 4-315: Nuisance; Hearing.
The City Council or other persons shall hear testimony of all competent persons desiring to testify respecting the condition constituting the nuisance, including the estimated cost of the abatement and other matters which may be pertinent. At the conclusion of the hearing, the City Council shall, by resolution, declare its findings. The City Council may declare the condition existing to be a nuisance and direct the person owning the property to abate it within a reasonable time after the date of posting on the premises a notice of the adoption of the resolution and sending a notice. a. Discuss - Approve / Deny sending resolution abatement letter to the property listed below: (1) 918 Custer Street.

8. Park Improvement Grant for Sidewalks: Two (2) Bids received for the Downtown Park area and near the Tennis/Pickleball Courts.
Discuss - Approve recommendation from the Park Improvement Grant Committee to award the bid to K & M Concrete & Design LLC of Grand Island, NE in the amount of $11,490.83 to install sidewalks in the downtown park area and near the tennis/pickleball courts. a. Approve Mayor Feeken signing the contract for the grant project. The cost of the project will be reimbursed by the NE Dept. of Economic Development (NDED) in accordance with the park improvement grant. |

9. The 3rd Street Paving Improvement Project received two (2) bids for paving.
Discuss - Approve the recommendation from Olsson (City Engineer), to award the bid to Diamond Engineering Company, Grand Island, NE in the amount of $123,080.95. The bid pertains to the 3rd Street Paving Improvement Project #025-04097. The estimated project cost was $149,932. The 25% Infrastructure fund will absorb the cost for the project.

10. Discuss a home that is encroaching on a public alleyway (16 ft.) at 512 Baxter Street, more legally described as E1/2 of Lots Five (5) and Six (6), Block 108, Original Town, Howard County, St. Paul, Nebraska.
a. Introduce Ordinance No. 1070 to vacate the south half (S1/2) of the alley in Block 108, Original Town, St. Paul, Nebraska; and to declare an effective date. The property is more legally described as: Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot Five (5), Block One Hundred Eight (108), in the Original Town of St. Paul, Howard County, Nebraska, said point being the True Point of Beginning; thence northerly along the East line of said Lot Five (5) to the northeast corner of Lot Six (6) in said Block; thence along an extension of the North line of said Lot Six (6) to the northwest corner of Lot Three (3) in said Block; thence southerly along the West line of said Lot Three (3) to the southeast corner of Lot Four (4) in said Block; thence westerly along an extension of the South line of said Lot Four (4) to the True Point of Beginning, and hereby vacated and title to the same is hereby reserved in the City of St. Paul, Nebraska; subject to all easements of record. *Introduce Ordinance, with NO second or roll call *Waive three (3) readings of Ordinance, with second and roll call *Final Passage of Ordinance, with second and roll call.
