February 2, 2026 at 6:30 PM - 1st Council Regular Meeting

1. Mayor Mike Feeken calls City Council meeting to order, with the "Pledge of Allegiance" and the "Open Meeting Statement" as required by NE State Statutes 84-1407 through 84-1414; Mayor Feeken also states that the City Council may vote to go into Closed Session on any agenda item as allowed by NE State Statute 84-1410.

4. Discuss - Approve / Deny the purchase of carpet for the St. Paul Police Department Offices (Bryan Robinson).

5. Discuss - Approve / Deny Diamond Engineering Co. Change Order #2 regarding Olsson Project No. 025-00534 pertaining to the St. Paul Tennis & Pickleball Courts Change of Substantial and Final Completion dates. The changes in the contract times consist of (1) Substantial Completion date from February 2, 2026, to June 1, 2026; and (2) Ready for Final Payment date from February 28, 2026, to June 15, 2026.

6. Discuss - Approve / Deny Consent Agenda Items: (1) Minutes January 20, 2026; (2) Planning Commission Minutes January 27, 2026; (3) Disbursements February 2, 2026; (4) Transfer of Sales Tax funds from Money Market #504420 to the Checking #300277 to pay disbursements; and (5) Jarod Greenough, City Lineman attending the 2026 NE Meter Conference in Kearney, NE on February 17-18, 2026.

7. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF HOLIDAY: The second (2) City Council meeting in February 2026, will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, due to the Presidents' Day holiday.

8. Discuss 1st of the month City nuisances per Chief of Police Dan Howard (possible action).

It is the intention of the Mayor and City Council to take up the items on the agenda in sequential order.  However, the Mayor and City Council reserves the right to take up matters in a different order to accommodate the schedules of the City Council members, person(s) having items on the agenda, and the public.  The City of St. Paul reserves the right to adjust the order of items on the agenda.
