5.5. Review and Act on Preschool Busing
Description:
The results of the preK busing survey were discussed at the 2/27/17 Workshop meeting. The recommendation is to provide transportation to preschool students for the 2017-2018 school year for a fee of $11-$12 per month per child. The district would subsidize the remaining cost of the buses. It is important to note that we will only provide services if bus registration dictates a need. In addition, families who qualify for free and reduced lunch benefits would have access to transportation via a preschool transportation scholarship program as outlined in the executive summary.
