Description:
Other than Agenda items (Limit 30 minutes, 5 minutes per speaker). During the public comment part of each regular board meeting, up to 30 minutes of time will be allowed for district constituents to address the board. Each person may have up to 5 minutes of time to speak. This is a time of "listening" by the school board. The board is here to listen only and will not take action or discuss topics brought forward during the open forum. It may, at is discretion, ask questions for clarification of issues. The board may, if it deems appropriate, bring said issues forward at a subsequent meeting. NO PERSONAL ATTACKS WILL BE ALLOWED. The open forum is the only opportunity for members of the audience to speak out during the meeting. Please attached form and follow the guidelines for presenting your topic.

9.1. Superintendent's Report
Description:
Building Construction Update - We will be scheduling a construction site tour for our Workshop meeting on January 26th. We will meet on site in the old Media Center at 6:30 PM. I will share a document outlining some additional classroom locations which will allow construction crews access to the eastern part of the new "spine." In addition, we will be answering questions about bid package three in anticipation of approving contracts under action items.
2015-2016 School Year Budgeting - We are working to load updates into our PMA Financial Budget program (January). This work, along with the student registration process (January - February), and information from the revenue projection workshop (February) will establish the main components of our proposed budget. Calendar Committee Update - 2015-2016 School Year Calendar SW Metro Educational Cooperative - Possible application for Intermediate status (see handout). January 24th Retreat Agenda/Outline Administrative and Board Retreat - January 24thTopics include: * Team Building Exercises * Strategic Plan Check-In Reports *Updates to strategic plan booklet with a comparative of where we were in the spring of 2014 vs. where we are now in the winter of 2015 *Updates to 3 year plan *Updates to timelines - when surveys will be procured, etc. *2015-2016 District Initiatives *Building Project Update *DLR and Wenck |
