Request approval to hire Mr. Mike Napleton for the position of Department Chairperson, Educational Support Services (ESS) for the 2019-20 school year. Mr. Napleton is currently teaching at Argo and all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. Mr. Napleton will be paid $7,300.

Request approval to hire Ms. Jacqueline Finley for the position of full-time Math Teacher for the 2019-20 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. This position is available due to the resignation of Mr. Michael Miceli in March. Ms. Finley will be paid at BA Step 5, $62,765 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement. Upon the anticipated completion and submission of official transcripts for a Master's Degree in Mathematics. Ms. Finley would move to MA Step 5, $77,338 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Ms. Assurim Rosette-Sanchez for the position of full-time Math Teacher for the 2019-20 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. This position is available due to moving Miss Emily Sawyer, a current math teacher to the ELL department. Ms. Rosette-Sanchez will be paid at BA Step O or $57,349 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire the following ESS (Educational Support Services) Aides for Summer School 2019 pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Employment is based on need. The pay rate is $24.92 per hour up to 6/3/19 and $25.54 per hour starting 7/1/19 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement. Instructional Aides will not exceed 80 hours per session.

Request approval to hire Miss Ramanda Bond as a Substitute Teacher for the 2019-20 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Miss Bond will be paid at an hourly rate of $22.00 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to move Ms. Jessica Rys from a 0.4 to a 1.0 (FTE) full time employee for the 2019-20 school year. This request was made and approved by the Board of Education in the 2019-20 staffing plan. Ms. Rys will be paid at MA Step O or $61,226 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mrs. Erin Walsh for the position of Head Scholastic Bowl Sponsor for the 2019-20 school year. Mrs. Walsh is a current teacher in the district and all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. This position is available due to the resignation of the previous coach, Dr. Laura Jervis in March. Mrs. Walsh will be paid at 12% of BA Step 1 or $7,245 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval for Sponsors, Mr. Gary Feltman and Mrs. Nemeh Khatib to chaperone members of the Special Olympics Track Team to participate in the state track competition at Illinois State University in Normal, IL on June 7 and 8, 2019. Their participation will require an overnight stay. The team will stay at the dormitories at Illinois State University. The approximate cost to the district is $720.00 for meals.
