Request approval to accept the notice of resignation from Mr. Andrew Corbin from the position of Girls Bowling Coach effective the 2018-19 school year.

Request approval to accept the notice of resignation from Ms. Cara Prochaska from the position of Head Speech & Debate Sponsor effective the 2018-19 school year. 

Request approval to move Mr. Robert Reynolds, 3rd Shift Custodian from probationary status to full-time status with all the responsibilities and benefits of a full-time employee as of August 3, 2018.

Request retroactive approval (as of 8/13/18) to hire Mr. Gino Rosales Julca for the position of .6 FTE - part-time Spanish Teacher for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements.  This position is due to Mrs. Sana Khalil being on a leave of absence. Mr. Julca will be paid at BA Step 0 or $33,701 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to accept the notice of resignation from Ms. Kristi Gabriel from the position of ESS Instructional Assistant effective the 2018-19 school year.

Request retroactive approval (as of 8/13/18) to hire Ms. Jessica Rys for the position of 0.4 FTE part-time ESS Teacher for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements.  This vacancy is the result of Mrs. Sarah Hills taking a year-long leave of absence.  Ms. Rys will be paid at BA Step 0 or $22,467.60 as a 0.4 FTE Teacher per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request retroactive approval (as of 8/13/18) to hire Ms. Nicole Cruz for the position of Substitute Teacher and Intermittent FMLA Teacher for Mrs. Stacey Ziccardi the 2018-19 school year.  Ms. Cruz previously worked in the district and successfully completed all pre-employment requirements  Ms. Cruz will be paid $22.00 per hour as a substitute teacher per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Ms. Grace Drobny for the position of Study Skills Coordinator for the 2018-19 school year. Mrs. Drobny is currently a teacher at Argo and has successfully completed pre-employment requirements.  This position is available due to the retirement of Mrs. Jean Rasmussen in May, 2018. Mrs. Drobny will be paid at 7.92% of BA Step 1 or $4,682.70 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to renew the contract with Rosecrance for the 2018-19 school year in the amount of $10,000.

Request approval for the Alumni "Class of 1958" to use the Harry Stone Learning Resource Center on September 29, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  The recommendation is no fee to the organization. 

Request approval for the Championship Swimmers to use the Mike Wojciechowicz Aquatic Center from August 21, 2018 through July 26, 2019 on Monday - Friday - 6:00p.m.-9:00 p.m. and Saturday - 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.  The recommendation is no out of district fee pending 75% residency. Fees for security and/or maintenance may apply.  A current certificate of insurance is required prior to use of the facility.

Request approval for the Summit Rebels to use Memorial Stadium on September 16, 23 and October 7 and 28, 2018.  The recommendation is no out of district fee pending 75% residency.  Fees for security and/or maintenance may apply.  The organization will need to provide a current certificate of insurance prior to use of the facility.

Request approval for the Chicago Fire to use Memorial Stadium from September 4, 2018 to November 20, 2018 on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday's from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The recommendation is to charge the organization $100 per hour with possible additional fees for security and maintenance.  The organization will need to provide a current certificate of insurance prior to use of the facility.
