Request approval to accept the notice of resignation from Ms. Toni Cygan, Pupil Personnel Utility Clerk effective March 20, 2018.

Request approval to accept the separation/resignation agreement between the Board of Education and Mrs. Janet Lihosit, School Nurse.

Request approval to hire Ms. Nicole Romanov for the substitute FMLA English Teacher position pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements beginning approximately April 20, 2018 through the end of the 2017-18 school year. Ms. Romanov will cover Dr. Laura Jervis' classes while out on FMLA and will be paid $22 per hour for six (6) hours of instruction and one (1) hour planning time per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request retroactive approval to hire Mr. Jim Innis for the substitute FMLA Physical Education Teacher position which began March 5, 2018 through the end of the 2017-18 school year. Mr. Innis will cover Mr. Chris Hill's class while out on FMLA leave and will be paid $22 per hour for six (6) hours of instruction and one (1) hour planning time per the Collectively Bargained Agreement. Mr. Innis has successfully completed all pre-employment requirements.

Request retroactive approval to move Mr. Phil Rossberg to the position of Head Athletic Trainer as of February 26, 2018 for the spring of 2018. This request is due to the FMLA leave of the current trainer, Mr. Chris Hills. Mr. Rossberg will be paid $11,582.00 (20% of BA Step 1 ($57,909), Year 3) per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mr. Mark Krausz for a substitute Teacher position for the 2017-18 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Mr. Krausz will be paid $22.00 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mr. Frank Rinaldi for the Student Supervisor position effective April 2, 2018. Mr. Rinaldi will be paid $22.14 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement. All pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed.

Request approval to move Ms. Dawn Barrera, Guidance Secretary from probationary status to regular full-time status with full vested rights in all programs based on the Collectively Bargained Agreement effective April 3, 2018.

Request approval to hire Ms. Kristeen Shimko for the position as a Counseling Intern in the Pupil Personnel Department for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of employment requirements. Ms. Shimko will receive a stipend in the amount of $2500 for the year which is fully reimbursable through the state.

Request approval for Mr. Kris Kowalski and Ms. Bernice Schopf, CTE Teachers to chaperone five (5) students to participate in the Skills USA State Competition in Springfield, IL on April 19-21, 2018. Their participation will require an overnight stay at the Drury Inn in Springfield. The approximate cost to the district is $1,689.92 which includes four (4) hotel rooms, transportation, and meals.

Request approval for the Village of Justice Police and Fire Commission to use the Frank Stout Field House (all courts/track) and cafeteria on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The purpose of this use of facility request is to conduct candidate testing. The recommendation is no charge to the organization. Their current certificate of insurance expires on 12/1/18.
