Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the Resolution as follows: WHEREAS, Independent School District 0640 Wabasso Public School Administration recognizes the importance of public education in our community; and WHEREAS, Independent School District 0640 Wabasso Public School Administration appreciates the vital role played by those individuals who, as local school board members, establish policies to ensure an efficient, effective school system; and WHEREAS, school board members serve as a voice that enables our community to preserve local management and control of our public schools; and WHEREAS, school board members are charged with representing our local education interests to state and federal governments and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws; and WHEREAS, school board members selflessly devote their knowledge, time and talents as advocates for our schoolchildren; WHEREAS, local school board members are strong advocates for public education and responsible for communicating the needs of the school district to the public and the public's expectations to the district; WHEREAS, Minnesota school board members help Minnesota kids rise; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Independent School District 0640 Wabasso Public School Administration recognizes and salutes the members of the Independent School District 0640 School Board by proclaiming September 2026 as School Board Recognition Month.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 0640 Board of Education set the Truth-in-Taxation Hearing date for December ___, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. and the regular December School Board meeting immediately following.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the Levy Limitation and Certification Report 2026 payable 2027 at the maximum amount permitted by law.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education post the Call For Bids for Snow Removal for the 2026-2027 school year as presented with bid deadline set as October 19, 2026.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education hire Aaron Struntz as the Jr High Cross Country Coach for the 2026 season. Mr. Struntz will be placed on Step 1 of the Schedule B Extracurricular schedule of the WEA Contract with a salary of $2,576.50
