Recommended Motion(s):
Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the Transportation Contract with 4.0 Bus Services for 5 fiscal years 2027-2031, with an option for an additional 5 year extension for fiscal years 2032-2036 with rates to be negotiated in good faith.
Rates for the 2026-2027 school year is as follows:
Regular To-From Routes:
Monthly Charge - per Bus (if 6 routes) $ 6 ,115.00 per month; Monthly Charge - per Bus (if 5 routes) $ 6 ,848.80 per month.
Special Education Routes:
AM Route (2 hour minimum) $ 145.00 per day; PM Route (2 hour minimum) $ 145.00 per day;
Mid-Day Route (2 hour minimum; Per 1/4 hour over minimum $18.13 per 1/4 hour;
Extra-Curricular Trips:
Hourly Trip Rate $ 19.00 per hour; Mileage Rate $ 1.42 per mile;
Fuel Clause: District pays for all fuel.
4.0 Donation to the District: $ 50,000.00. Donation to be made by 2/28/27.
