Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve Superintendent Jon Fulton as the individual Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) for ISD 0640 with the Department of Education for the 2024-2025 school year.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the 2024-2025 Participation Fees, Athletic Passes, and Gate Admission prices at the same rate as 2023-2024 fees as follows: Participation Fees: $80 Grades 9-12 per sport $50 Grades 7&8 per sport $50 per non-athletic activity (Speech, Theater, Knowledge Bowl, Trap Shooting); Athletic Game Season Passes: Wabasso Students are FREE; Adult Pass $ 85; Couple Pass $120; and $60 for a 10 Event Punch Card. Single Game Admission Charges: Adults $7; Visiting Student $5; and Senior Citizen $5

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it resolved, the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the following Resolution: RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE TERMINATION AND NONRENEWAL OF THE TEACHING CONTRACT OF CHARLES FENGER, LICENSED TIER 1 CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE). WHEREAS, Charles Fenger is a Tier 1 Licensed Career Technical Education (CTE) teaching Shop, Home Improvement, Woods, and Welding classes in Independent School District No. 0640. BE IT RESOLVED, by the School Board of Independent School District No. 0640, that pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 122A.40, Subdivision 5, that the teaching contract of Charles Fenger in Independent School District No. 0640, is hereby terminated as of June 1st, 2024. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that written notice be sent to said teacher regarding termination and non-renewal of his contract as provided by law, and that said notice shall be in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF TERMINATION AND NON-RENEWAL May 30, 2024 Mr. Charles Fenger 28371 County Hwy 4 Sanborn, MN 56083 Dear Mr. Charles Fenger; You are hereby notified that at the meeting of the School Board of Independent District No.640 held on May 29, 2024, a resolution was adopted by a majority roll call vote to not renew your teaching contract for the 2024 - 2025 school year. Your employment will terminate at the end of the 2023 - 2024 school year effective June 1, 2024. Said action of the School Board is taken pursuant to Minn. Stat. 122A.40, subd. 5.[1] and the District Master Agreement. You may officially request the School Board give its reasons for the nonrenewal of your teaching contract. Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education hire Jacob Wobschall part time in the Custodian II position with an hourly wage of $11.25 and his first day of work being May 28, 2024. Mr. Wobschall is hired for 6 hours per day, with hours increasing on June 3rd through August 2nd to 36 hours per week, and then returning to 6 hours per day on August 5, 2024

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve moving Ben Nelson to Custodian I position in the AFSCME Union effective May 28, 2024 with an increase in wage of $1.38 per hour

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the Family Medical Leave request of Alexi Frericks from August 27, 2024 through October 16, 2024. Mrs. Frericks requests use of any sick leave and personal leave for this time that is available under the WEA Contract and State laws

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education hire Scott Leopold as the Boys Basketball Head Coach for the 2024-2025 season as recommended by Activities Director Joe Kemp at Step 1 with a salary of $4042.29 according to the extracurricular salary schedule
