IV. Public Comment
Description:
At this time, the President of the Board of Education will recognize visitors and ask if any citizen of the community is interested in speaking to members of the Board of Education. Time allowed will generally be limited to three minutes for each individual, unless waived by the President. All individuals who wish to address the Board of Education must sign up in advance. The President may limit the opportunity to address the Board in cases where a person has previously addressed the Board on the same or related subject. Issues brought to the Board prior to being channeled through the proper chain of command will be referred back to the appropriate level.

Dina Wright has resigned her position as a playground aide at Wells Elementary, effective April 29, 2025. Cheryl Nelson has resigned her position as a general kitchen worker at Glenview Middle School, effective at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. Ms. Nelson will continue employment with the district as an instructional aide. Cristina Magadan has resigned her position as an instructional aide at Hillcrest Elementary, effective at the end of the 2025-2026 school year. Ms. Magadan will continue employment with the district as a secretary for special education. |

Description:
Monica Young has submitted a request for an unpaid leave of absence from her position as a paraprofessional at Glenview Middle School from March 20, 2025 through the end of the 2024-2025 school year. Laurie Peschang-Budish has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as a district kitchen helper from March 12, 2025, March 18-20, 2025, April 8, 2025, and April 28 - May 2, 2025. Jessica Fouts has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as a paraprofessional at Hillcrest Elementary from April 18, 2025 through the end of the 2024-2025 school year. Allison Steafken has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as a paraprofessional at Bowlesburg Elementary from April 19, 2025 through the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
