This is an open meeting of the Gibbon City Council. The City of Gibbon abides by the Open Meetings Act in conducting business. A copy of the Open Meetings Act is displayed on the south wall of the Council Chambers as required by state law.
The City Council may vote to go into closed session on any agenda item as allowed by state law.

2. Submittal of Requests for Future Items
Individuals who have items for City Council consideration should complete the Request for Future Agenda items form available from the City Clerk or on the City of Gibbon website.  If the issue can be handled administratively without Council action, notification will be provided.  If the item is scheduled for a meeting or study session, notification of the date will be given.

3. Reserve Time to Speak on Agenda Items
There will be time to speak on agenda action items at the time of discussion prior to any vote of the Council. .

4. Acceptance of Mayor's Resignation

4.1. Consider a motion to approve the resignation of Mayor Leon Stall effective immediately.

5. Declaration of Vacancy — Office of Mayor

6. Succession to Office of Mayor

6.1. Oath of Office — Derrick Clevenger — Mayor

7. Declaration of Vacancy - Ward 1

8. Appointment to Fill Ward 1 Council Vacancy

8.1. Consider a motion to approve the appointment of Brandon Bruggemann to fill Ward 1 council vacancy.

8.1.1. Oath of Office — Brandon Bruggemann — Council Member Ward 1

9. Election of Council President

9.1. Consider a motion to approve the nomination to fill council president.
