7.1. Resolution # 2019-12--Sale of Property

RESOLUTION NO. 2019-12
            RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GIBBON, BUFFALO COUNTY, NEBRASKA, to direct the sale of two pickups.
            WHEREAS, the City desires to dispose of two pickups and believes the fair market value of each item to be less than $5,000.
            BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GIBBON, BUFFALO COUNTY, NEBRASKA that the City shall sell a 1995 Ford F-150 red pickup and a 1990 GMC Sierra C1500 silver pickup, each of which has a fair market value of less than $5,000. Such sale shall be by sealed bid, for cash, and the last day to submit a sealed bid to the City Clerk shall be November 20, 2019. Each item shall be on a separate bid. Said property shall be sold "as is" with no warranties. Notice of the sale shall be posted in three (3) prominent places within the City for a period of not less than seven (7) days prior to the last day to submit a sealed bid.
