So as to provide information in a more timely manner, the minutes of the December 3 Human Resources Committee meeting are attached. In the interest of providing adequate time for our Work Session, the report will not be given on the meeting until the January 6 Board meeting.

7.3.3. Curriculum and Instruction Committee 12-4-13

Description:
There is one item from the December 4 Curriculum and Instruction Committee that does need action. As a part of our work with St Peter, last spring a proposal for legislation was developed to provide the option to start school up to two weeks before Labor Day (no earlier than August 10). Due to our State Representative leaving office, the proposal was dropped. The effort has been restarted. A letter of explanation and the proposal are attached. The Curriculum and Instruction Committee endorses pursuing the effort with St Peter. An endorsement from the full Board is needed to continue the process. Endorsement of the legislation is recommended.
So as to provide information in a more timely manner, the minutes of the December 4 Curriculum and Instruction Committee meeting are attached. In the interest of providing adequate time for our Work Session, the remainder of the report will be given at the January 6 Board meeting.

Description:
The minutes of the December 4 Shared Services Committee meeting are attached. Since the topic of our Work Session is the work the Committee has been doing, the information from the Committee meeting will be discussed at the Work Session and a full report will be given at the January 6 Board Meeting.

Description:
