This meeting is a meeting of the Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the School District's business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated on the agenda. |

3. Citizen's Comments
This portion of the agenda is for citizens to address any questions or comments to the Board. The Board will listen, take comments and questions under advisement, and not respond at this time. The presiding officer will refer questions to the superintendent for research and response. When called on by the Board President, the citizen may address the Board for up to three (3) minutes during the citizen comment period. Citizen comment timeframe is limited to 30 minutes. |

5.A. 2024-2025 Budget and Truth in Taxation Hearing
Description:
The 2024-2025 General Fund Operating budget, School Service (Food Service) budget, Debt Service budget and Student Activity fund budget will be reviewed. The total number of mills of ad valorem property taxes to be levied for operating purposes on non-homestead and non-qualified property in tax year 2024 shall be 18 mills ($18.00 per $1,000 of taxable valuation). Copies of the budget were provided to board members in board packets.
