1. Call To Order
This meeting is a meeting of the Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the School District's business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated on the agenda. |

3. Citizen's Comments
This portion of the agenda is for citizens to address any questions or comments to the Board. The Board will listen, take comments and questions under advisement, and not respond at this time. The presiding officer will refer questions to the superintendent for research and response. When called on by the Board President, the citizen may address the Board for up to three (3) minutes during the citizen comment period. Citizen comment timeframe is limited to 30 minutes. |

5.A. Student Expulsion
Description:
Administration is recommending that the student involved in Administrative Hearing #24-0113 be expelled for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year with the option to enroll in the WAY program with half day (morning only) lab privileges. The expelled student must not be in violation of any Niles Community Schools' code of conduct or Michigan State Law. Student will be able to apply for reinstatement for the 24-25 school year no later than August 1, 2024. Jessica Johnson will answer any questions.
