June 19, 2023 at 5:30 PM - Annual Budget/Truth-In-Budget Hearing

Call to Order
 

Pursuant to Public Act 43 as found in the School Code of 1976, and PA 41, 42 and 43 of 1995, and MCL 380.624 of the Revised School Code (Act 451 of 1976), a local unit of government shall hold a public hearing prior to final adoption of its budget.
 

Review public notices pertaining to Act 43 of 1963 and PA 41, 42 and 43 of 1995.
 

Present the following budgets for public review:
 

MAISD 2023-24 General Fund Budget calling for an authorized tax levy of 0.4518 of one mill for capital needs, future capital needs and general operating purposes, and 0.9831 of one mill on behalf of local districts for technology and security on the MAISD taxable value of $5,745,989,588.
 

MAISD 2023-24 Special Education Fund Budget calling for an authorized tax levy of 2.2597 mills for capital needs, future capital needs and general operating purposes on the MAISD taxable value of $5,745,989,588.
 

MAISD 2023-24 Vocational Education Fund Budget calling for an authorized tax levy of 0.9827 of one mill for capital needs, future capital needs and general operating purposes on the MAISD taxable value of $5,745,989,588.
 

MAISD 2023-24 School Lunch Fund Budget.
 

MAISD 2023-24 School Activity Fund Budget.
 

MAISD 2023-24 Capital Projects Fund Budget.
