Motion: The Board of Education approves the consent agenda to include the following:

IV.A.1. Hiring of Jullian Marshick, 1.0 FTE Math Teacher at MacDonald Middle School at BA Step 3 effective August 22, 2022.

IV.A.2. Hiring of Chelsea Hunt-Teachout, pending receiving her Michigan teaching certificate, 1.0 FTE Special Education Teacher at East Lansing High School at BA Step 5 effective August 22, 2022.

IV.A.3. Hiring of Elizabeth Falk, 1.0 FTE Special Education Teacher at Whitehills Elementary School at MA Step 15 effective August 22, 2022.

V. Presentation
Bill Boss, ELHS Athletic Booster, Donation to help fund High School Turf Field

VI. Public Comment:  This is the opportunity to address the Board.  Speakers are to confine their remarks to five minutes.  If a speaker requires more than five minutes, after all other persons who have requested to speak during this part of the meeting have spoken, that speaker will be allowed additional time.  The Superintendent or other district staff may comment to clear up or avoid significant misunderstandings.

VII. Action Items

VII.A. Acceptance of Donation
Motion: The Board of Education accepts the donation from East Lansing High School Athletic Booster Club in the amount of $210,000.
 

VII.B. Appointment of Professional Learning Advisory Committee
Motion: The Board of Education appoints the following individuals to serve on the 2022 ELPS Professional Learning Advisory Committee;
Teachers: Mark Pendred, Evan Martin, Kathy Kain, Aimee Holbrook, Patty Sancshawala; 
Parent: Shelley Boyd; 
Administrator: Rinard Pugh; 
Para Professional: Mary Claucherty
 

VII.C. Food Service Meal Prices
Motion: The Board of Education approves the food service meal prices for the 2022-23 fiscal year as presented:
High School = $1.55/$1.80
Middle School = $1.55
Elementary lunch = $1.30
All levels breakfast = $1.00
Reduced pricing no change
Adult lunch and breakfast = $5.00
