Jingting Lin and Eliza Lane are the State Champions in the Michigan Science Olympiad for the model airplane flying event called “Wright Stuff.” In this competition students built precision, delicate, propeller driven planes powered by rubber bands. It’s a lot of work and dedication and very sophisticated engineering. Their volunteer coach (and model plane expert) is Brian Turnbull.
