II.A. The ELHS Science Olympiad team took 1st place out of 15 high schools at their regional competition on Saturday, March 16 at Lansing Community College. In the team’s fifth year of existence, it has grown to approximately 40 members under the leadership of Head Coach Will Kopachik and faculty advisor John Heinrich. Congratulations to our Science Olympiad team members and coaches, and good luck at States on April 27 at Michigan State University!

Motion: The Board of Education approve added media about sexting to the HIV/AIDS 7th & 8th grades curriculum and the high school sexual health curriculum as presented. |
IX.B. Renewal of Food Service Management Contract with Chartwells
Motion: The Board of Education authorize the Superintendent, or designee, to sign the presented Agreement Page and Contract Renewal Agreement to renew the food service management contract with Chartwells School Dining for a period of one year beginning on July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. |
