Motion:  The Board of Education approve the consent agenda to include the following items:

VI.A. unpaid leave of absence for paraprofessional, Heather DeLadurantaye for the 2016-2017 school year.

Public Comment:    This is the opportunity to address the Board.  Speakers are to confine their remarks to three minutes.  If a speaker requires more than three minutes, after all other persons who have requested to speak during this part of the meeting have spoken, that speaker will be allowed additional time.  The Superintendent or other district staff may comment to clear up or avoid significant misunderstandings.

IX.A. ELESPA Job Description Review

IX.A.1. Librarian Work Day
Motion:  The Board of Education approve an extended work day for librarians from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., an increase of 30 minutes daily.

IX.A.2. Librarian Work Calendar
Motion:  The Board of Education approve the addition of 2.5 days to the library paraprofessional work calendar.

IX.A.3. Library Paraprofessional Category
Motion:  The Board of education approve the re-categorization of library paraprofessionals to Category 5.

IX.B. Indigenous People's Day
Motion:  The Board of Education adopt the resolution to recognize Indigenous People's Day, replacing Columbus Day, on the second Monday of October.
