V.C. Innovative Educational Programming in Fall 2016
Motion: The The Board of Education direct the Superintendent to form a committee for the purpose of initiating innovative educational programming in fall 2016 for pre-k through grade 5 at Red Cedar, as mandated by the 2012 resolution, and at Donley. The specific social, cultural, and academic programming that meets the needs of each schools’ specific populations will be determined by a administrative committee whose membership will be comprised of the Superintendent, Director of Curriculum, Director of Finance, Donley Principal, one or more teachers and at least one school board member. The committee will present its plan as an action item to the board no later than the December 14, 2015 school board meeting. Funding for alternative programming may come from the 2012 capital projects fund. |
