Description:
1) Selecting board officers
An annual realignment of the board will take place at the first meeting following the yearly election. Realignment can take place at any meeting by following the "Request for Agenda" procedures. Board members will appoint a President, Vice President and Secretary. President: Presides at all Board meetings Signs all legal documents required by law Along with the Superintendent, sets the Board’s agenda Represents the board on media inquires Vice President Acts in the capacity of the President in his/her absence Secretary Keeps accurate record of Board meetings Acting in absence of President and Vice President |

Description:
If a majority of the Active Members of the Region endorse a candidate, that individual will be elected to the TASB Board. If at least 25 percent, but not a majority, endorse the candidate, that individual will be included on the official ballot at the TASB Delegate Assembly.
