1. CALL TO ORDER
FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS - Announcement by the Board President whether a quorum is present, and that the notice of the meeting has been duly called, and posted in the time and manner required by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551. |

2. CLOSED SESSION
Recess to Executive Session, pursuant to Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section: 551.071) Private consultation with the board's attorney, and 551.072 Deliberation regarding real property 551.074) To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee. 551.082) Considering discipline of a public school child, or complaint or charge against personnel If, during the course of the meeting, the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed session is required, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section listed above. Description:
Kailyn Henderson is an 8th grade scholar at Permenter Middle School and member of the campus’ revitalized Student Council. Kailyn was recommended to recite the U.S. Pledge by Student Council sponsor and Permenter Middle School teacher off 19 years,Ms. Angel Hale. Kailyn is a straight A, gifted and talented student who has perfect attendance and earned Masters in reading and math STAAR last year.

3.B. Pledge to the Texas Flag

Description:
Danielle Rollins is a fifth grade scholar at Lake Ridge Elementary School. She was inducted into the National Elementary Honor Society in the Spring of 2022. Danielle is a wonderful scholar who demonstrates leadership, care for others and responsibility. Below are some interesting facts about this scholar. Danielle loves crab, but her favorite food is Japanese food. Her favorite things to do are practicing gymnastics and playing games with her cousins. Additionally, she wants to play football. Danielle’s favorite colors are blue, black and mint green. Her favorite
shoe brands are Puma, Adidas, Nikes, Jordans and Converse. Her favorite holiday is St. Patrick’s Day because that’s her birthday. She loves to travel, and Mexico is one of her favorite places. Danielle is a great scholar and demonstrates aspects of our Lake Ridge Pledge by being a leader and making good choices. |

5. CITIZENS FORUM: The Board will now hear those who wish to make comments and who have completed and returned the Public Forum Citizen Participation Form. This section will be conducted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act and Board Policy. Speakers must limit comments to issues that can be presented in a public forum. Complaints about student discipline, specific student issues or personnel must be addressed through appropriate administrative channels.
