I. Executive Sessions:
5:30–5:45 p.m. Executive Session: The board will convene in executive session to consider the dismissal or disciplining of a public officer, employee, staff member or individual agent, or hear complaints or charges brought against such a person pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(b) and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection pursuant to ORS 192.660 (2)(f). All matters discussed during this executive session are confidential and shall not be disclosed by any representative of the news media without authorization by the school board. Executive sessions are not open to the public. 5:45–6:15 p.m. Executive Session: The board will convene in executive session to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to carry on real property transactions, pursuant to ORS 192.660 (2)(e). All matters discussed during this executive session are confidential and shall not be disclosed by any representative of the news media without authorization by the school board. Executive sessions are not open to the public. 6:15–6:50 p.m. Executive Session: The board will convene in executive session to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to carry on labor negotiations, pursuant to ORS 192.660 (2)(d). All matters discussed during this executive session are confidential and shall not be disclosed by any representative of the news media without authorization by the school board. Executive sessions are not open to the public.

There will be a total of 30 minutes of public comment and individual speakers are limited to 3 minutes and cannot give their time to another speaker. If additional public comment is needed, it will be at the end of the meeting.
Speakers may offer objective comments or criticism about district operations and programs; however, the board will not hear complaints concerning individual district personnel. The district has a board policy for filing a formal complaint against an individual. Please contact the Superintendent's Office at 541-790-7707 for more information about submitting a formal complaint. |
