2. AGENDA FOR MARCH 16, 2017 SPECIAL SESSION
Description:
Originally the March 16, 2017 Special Session was designated for discussing the District and Board Goals and Strategies. At the February 16, 2017 meeting, Accuity, LLC was present and suggested a work session with the board to review the process of switching from a cash to accrual accounting system. The board will discuss whether to add this to the agenda and potentially remove District/Board goals and leave that work to the Superintendent's sub-committee that was formed at the February meeting.

3. RECESS INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION
Description:
The School Board will now meet in executive session for the purpose of reviewing recommendations for administrative and licensed staff contract extensions and renewal/non-renewal of probationary administrative and licensed staff as pursuant to ORS 192.660 (2)(i)-Performance Evaluations. No decision may be made in executive session and when the discussion is concluded, the board will return to Regular or Special session and welcome the audience back into the room.
Representatives of the news media, designated staff and invited guests shall be allowed to attend the executive session. All other members of the audience are now asked to leave the room. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any of the deliberations during the executive session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced. No recording of the executive session is allowed without express permission from the board. Time: |
