3.1. Resignations
Description:
Dr. Clark will present the following resignations for Board acceptance:
1. Tom Piefer, Social Studies teacher at Central Middle School, with 28 years of service, effective June 30, 2015 for retirement purposes. POSSIBLE MOTION: I MOVE TO (ACCEPT/NOT ACCEPT) TOM PIEFER'S RESIGNATION EFFECTIVE JUNE 30,2015 FOR RETIREMENT WITH EARLY RETIREMENT BENEFITS, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2015, 2. Amy Heinzman, Kindergarten teacher at Grove Elementary, with 8 years of service, effective June 19, 2015. POSSIBLE MOTION: I MOVE TO (ACCEPT/NOT ACCEPT) THE RESIGNATION FROM AMY HEINZMAN, AS PRESENTED. 3. Dr. Clark will also ask the Board to waive the 60-day notice required under ORS 342.553 and accept the following resignations, effective immediately: 1. Craig Angell, Math teacher at Central Middle School with 11 years of service; effective September 1, 2015 or earlier, if possible; 2. David Houchin, Math teacher at Central Middle School with 14 years of service, effective July 7, 2015; 3. Jaclyn Hales-Culham, 2nd grade teacher at Freewater Elementary with 12 years of service, effective July 14, 2015. POSSIBLE MOTION: I MOVE TO: 1. (HOLD CRAIG ANGELL, DAVID HOUCHIN AND JACLYN HALES-CULHAM FOR 60 DAYS OR UNTIL SUITABLE REPLACEMENTS ARE HIRED), or 2. (ACCEPT THE RESIGNATIONS BUT DIRECT THE SUPERINTENDENT TO NOTIFY TSPC IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORS 342.553 FOR DISCIPLINARY PURPOSES), or 3. (WAIVE THE 60-DAY NOTICE AND ACCEPT THE RESIGNATIONS, AS PRESENTED).

3.2. New Hires
Description:
Dr. Clark will make the following recommendations for employment:
1. Brittany McKinney, Kindergarten teacher at Grove Elementary, at Step A3; 2. Michael Esser, 3rd Grade teacher at Ferndale Elementary, at Step C3; 3. Eric Lynn, Language Arts teacher at Mac-Hi, at Step C3; 4. Scott Goodyear, Social Studies teacher at Central Middle School, at Step C4; 5. Mike Evans, Social Studies teacher at Central Middle School, at Step C4. POSSIBLE MOTION: I MOVE TO (APPROVE/NOT APPROVE) THE EMPLOYMENT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR 2015-2016, AS PRESENTED.

3.3. Extra Duty Contracts
Description:
Dr. Clark will present the following Extra Duty Contracts for Board approval:
1. Rory Simpson, Assistant Football Coach at the high school at Step E0, $3,225; 2. Gary Robertson, Assistant Football Coach at the high school at Step E3, $4,061. POSSIBLE MOTION: I MOVE TO (APPROVE/NOT APPROVE) THE EXTRA DUTY CONTRACTS, AS PRESENTED. |
3.4. Collective Bargaining Agreement
Description:
Dr. Calrk will ask the Board to approve the 2015-2018 Collective Bargaining Agreement, as negotiated.
POSSIBLE MOTION: I MOVE TO (APPROVE/NOT APPROVE) THE 2015-2018 COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT, AS NEGOTIATED.
