Description:
We acknowledge that the sacred land that we live and learn on today belongs to the Takelma, Shasta, Modoc, Klamath & Umpqua peoples. We honor and acknowledge the traditional owners of the land we now call the United States. We recognize the Native American peoples' continuing connection to land, place, waters, and community. We pay our respects to their cultures, country, and elders, past, present, and emerging.

Description:

4.C. UPDATE: Board Policy AC Nondiscrimination
Description:
This policy adds a new requirement that the District appoint a person to serve as the Civil Rights Coordinator to ensure compliance with the civil rights requirements of the policies and procedures related to discrimination related to any of the identified protected classes.
Superintendent Joseph Hattrick will serve in this role for the current year.

4.D. TRAILS middle school grades 6-8 will travel to Lava Beds in Crater Lake National Park, Camp McLaughlin at Lake of the Woods, and Tule Lake Internment Camp in California to learn about the internment of Japanese-American citizens during World War II. The travel itinerary is attached.

10.C.1) EFA Local Wellness Plan - Update, first reading

Description:
There have been significant required changes to this policy as a result of legislative and administrative actions. OSBA recommends adopting the new, required versions, parts of which are required to maintain our participation in the National School Lunch Program. OSBA also recommends deleting the old administrative regulation.
