Description:
A consent agenda is a practice by which regular and non-controversial board action items are organized apart from the rest of the agenda and approved as a group. This includes all of the business items that require formal board approval and yet because they are not controversial, there is no need for board discussion before taking a vote. Items may be on the consent agenda only if all board members agree. Any board member, for any reason, may remove a consent agenda item and place it on the regular agenda for the board meeting.
Recommended Motion(s):
Approve Consent Agenda. This motion, made by {Insert Board Member} and seconded by {Insert Board Member}, {Insert Action Result}.

11.1. APRIL 2024, Monthly accounting report, bills, payroll, and electronic fund transfers, ASB trial balance and P-Card statements in the amount of $1,037,109.96
Description:
Financials have a new look. Now that Student Fundraised Accounts have been centralized we are utilizing a report from our financial software that shows a summary of account activity and the balance of each individual program. This provides more information than the previous Trial Balance report did. It's helpful to see the large amounts of fundraising dollars that our student activity groups receive and spend each month. If the board would like any other details to be provided as part of the monthly financial reports, Finance Director Shannon Baird would be happy to oblige.
