Description:
A consent agenda is a practice by which regular and non-controversial board action items are organized apart from the rest of the agenda and approved as a group. This includes all of the business items that require formal board approval and yet because they are not controversial, there is no need for board discussion before taking a vote. Items may be on the consent agenda only if all board members agree. Any board member, for any reason, may remove a consent agenda item and place it on the regular agenda for the board meeting.

14.1. Resignations/Retirement
Description:
The board accepts the retirement of Kelly O'Conner Demko effective August 13th, 2020, and the resignation of Julie Anderson effective August 17th, Carli Byrer effective Sept 11, 2020, and Paula Akers effective October 30th, 2020 as accepted by the Superintendent on behalf of the Board according to BP 4117.2 (resignations)

14.2. Leave of Absence
Description:
Shelley Johnston instructional aide and Brittany Potrzuski instructional aide to have requested a leave of absence to accept a temporary teaching position in the Elementary school. PDSP classified negotiated agreement article 14.07 allows for a 1-year leave of absence approved at the discretion of the Superintendent. Upon completion of the year of leave, the employee will be rehired.
