Public participation is limited to thirty total (30) minutes. Members of the public are limited to three (3) to five (5) minutes of input. At each regular and special open meeting, the members of the public and district employees may comment on or ask questions of the Board, subject to reasonable constraints. The Board President may shorten or lengthen a person's opportunity to speak. The President may also deny the opportunity to speak to a person who has previously addressed the Board on the same subject within the past two months. Those who would like to speak during public comment must sign in prior to the start of the meeting in order to speak during Public Participation.(2:230) |
