7.L. Terminate Tyran Lyons, permanent substitute teacher, and remove from the substitute call list.

7.M. Approve the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Samantha Mehrmann, teacher, effective September 12, 2024, through November 8, 2024. Ms. Mehrmann will be using her accumulated sick and personal leave in conjunction with her FMLA. Commencement or termination of this leave may be adjusted.

7.N. Amend the start date for Clifford Moore, teacher, from September 9, 2024 to September 6, 2024.

7.O. Approve the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Mary Mueller, teacher, effective September 3, 2024, through September 4, 2024. Ms. Mueller will be using her accumulated sick and personal leave in conjunction with her FMLA. Commencement or termination of this leave may be adjusted.

7.P. Approve the FMLA, Family Bereavement Leave Act (FBLA) for Mary Mueller, teacher, effective September 5, 2024, through September 18, 2024. 7.U. Approve the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for Ashley Shipp, health aide, effective August 26, 2024, through September 3, 2024. Ms. Shipp will be using her accumulated sick and personal leave days in conjunction with her FMLA. Effective September 4, 2024, through September 11, 2024, Ms. Shipp will not be using accumulated sick and personal leave with her FMLA. Commencement or termination of this leave may be adjusted.

7.V. Employ Charles Wells as a permanent substitute teacher, effective August 23, 2024, contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements.

7.W. Create a HR Confidential Specialist position.

7.X. Amend the substitute secretary pay to remove the additional $25.00 for permanent/long term substitute secretaries. Approve the compensation to reflect Step 1 of the secretarial matrix daily rate for the position they are subbing.

7.Y. Employ B'Aunce Carter as an assistant middle school girls basketball coach, effective September 13, 2024, contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements.

7.AB. Accept the written resignation of Christopher Eastern, custodian, effective at the close of the 2028-2029 school year. Mr. Eastern is requesting to retire under Article 27 - Early Retirement Incentive of the Service Workers Council of the Cahokia Federation of Teachers Contract. Mr. Eastern would also like to reserve the right to apply for any additional state retirement incentives that may become available before his retirement date.
