Motion; Move to approve the minutes of the March 16, 2021 Board of Education Meeting. |
2. Closed Session authorized under Section 2© of the Open Meetings Act for the following subsections: #1) the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity. However, a meeting to consider an increase in compensation to a Local Government Wage Increase Transparency Act may not be closed and shall be open to the public and posted and held in accordance with this act; #2) Collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for on or more classes of employees; #3) The selection of a person to fill a public office, as defined in this Act,* including a vacancy in public office, when the public body is given power to appoint under law or ordinance, or the discipline, performance or removal of the occupant of public office, when the public body is given power to remove the occupant under law or ordinance.*

Description:
Recommended Action: Motion: Move to approve the Collective Barganing Agreement between the Rondout School District 72 Board of Education and the Rondout Education Association effective from the first business day of the fall 2021-2022 school year and remain in effect until the close of business on the day preceding the 2025-2026 school year.
