II. QUARRYVIEW EDUCATION CENTER UPDATE

Description:
Superintendent Willie Jett will present an update. Quarryview progress is currently four weeks behind schedule. The delay in structural steel shop drawing submittal is the main cause and effect. The recent wet weather will provide some additional delay. The steel erectors have been advised to provide more manpower and longer work days. They appear to be in agreement with the request. The additional steel erector manpower will not be an added cost and will allow some schedule advancements. Exterior wall framing is moving forward and keeping in pace with steel erectors. Concrete floors are being installed on first and second floors.
