Joni Olson, Executive Director of Student Achievement and Strategic Alignment, facilitated the Naming Committee for the New High School and will provide information about the process utilized. Naming Committee members will present the recommended list of names.

III. SECTION 100 BOARD POLICIES AND PROPOSED NEW POLICY 421 (First Reading)

Joni Olson, Executive Director of Student Achievement and Strategic Alignment, will present proposed Board Policy updates for Section 100, School District. Included will be proposed updates to existing Board Policies, proposed new Board Policies and policies recommended to be repealed. These are on the agenda for a first reading. Copies are attached. Information on the policy changes and notes is also attached.
Board Policy 101 - Legal Status (This is a new Board Policy) Board Policy 101.1 - Name of the School District Board Policy 102 - Equal Education Opportunity Board Policy 104 - School District Mission Statement Board Policy 105 - Harassment and Violence - REPEAL (Included in Board Policy 413) Board Policy 106 - Technology and Networked Information Resources - REPEAL (Included in Board Policy 524) Tracy Flynn Bowe, Executive Director of Human Resources, will present proposed new Board Policy 421, Gifts to Employees and School Board Members. This is on the agenda for a first reading. A copy is attached.
