Description:  Joni Olson, Executive Director of Student Achievement and Strategic Alignment, will present a progress update for the 2015-2016 Priority Results.  She will also share Core Planning Team feedback and District Administration's recommendations for 2016-2017 Priority Results.  Information is attached.

Description:  The Administration recommends approval for submission of the following grant applications:

1.    Grant application in the amount of $1,000.00 by Talahi Community School to Shopko to provide a handicapped playground at Talahi.

2.    Grant application in the amount of $500.00 by Colts Academy to the United Way of Central Minnesota to increase one or more of United Way's five key goals, specifically Early Learning-Early Literacy.
 

Description:  The Administration recommends approval of the following change order for the above named project.

- Change Order #1 with KUE Contractors, Inc. in the amount of +$21,669.00 to revise transformer, transformer windings from copper to aluminum, window spandrel panel, storm water piping, gas meter relocation, energy wheel disconnects, conduit for meter monitoring, select existing windows to remain, alternate pumps and demo sheetrock ceiling in gym.

This project is being funded with long term facilities maintenance funds.

This change order is within the approved budget for this project.
 

Description:  The Administration recommends that the Board of Education rescind the award for Attenuating Surfaces for Playground at Kennedy Community School that was awarded to VSI Construction, Inc., in the amount of $182,000.00 at the April 28, 2016 Board of Education meeting.  The vendor was listed incorrectly with an estimated budget amount.
 

Description:  The Administration recommends that the Board of Education enter into a contract under the NJPA Contract with SofSurfaces, Inc., for Attenuating Surfaces for Playground at Kennedy Community School in the amount of $157,750.76.

This project is being funded with Long Term Facilities Maintenance Revenue.
 

Description:  The Administration recommends that the Board of Education enter into a contract under the NJPA Contract with SofSurfaces, Inc., for Attenuating  Surfaces for Playground at Westwood Elementary School in the amount of $104,854.47.

This project is being funded with Long Term Facilities Maintenance Revenue.
