Ms. Dustin’s salary for this assignment will be $21,124.58. Greg Meixell, Grade 1 Teacher, Lincoln Elementary School, effective January 29, 2016, for the 2015-2016 school year, Lane BA, Pay Level 3 (full time contract for 87 days). Mr. Meixell’s salary for this assignment will be $16,906.22. 1. Donation in the amount of $711.90 to North Junior High School from General Mills (Box Tops for Education) for PBIS incentives. 2. Donations to the Apollo High School Granite City Gearheads Robotics Club as follows: $100.00 from Tru-Stone Technologies $250.00 from Saint City Skate Park $250.00 from Monte Hight (in the name of Robert Hight) $250.00 from Traut Wells 3. Donation of a flute and books to Clearview Elementary School from Kathy Gerdts-Senger for the Band Program. 4. VI.H. Approval for Submission of Grant Application
Description:
The Administration recommends approval for submission of a grant application entitled "Artful Learning for All" by Kennedy Community School to the Paramount Arts Resource Trust in the amount of $40,000.00. The purpose of this grant is to help teachers create and facilitate artful strategies that engage students and deepen understanding of specific state standards and benchmarks as identified by the classroom teacher.

VI.I. Kennedy Community School Addition/Remodel Change Orders Totaling +$2,621.92
Description:
The Administration recommends approval of the following change orders for the above named project.
- Change Order #6 with Design Electric Inc. in the amount of +$1,296.92 for additional kitchen electrical work. - Change Order #1 with Mid State Tile Company Inc. in the amount of +$975.00 for additional kitchen tile work. - Change Order #1 with Fransen Decorating in the amount of +$350.00 for additional painting per K PR 15. This project is funded with capital lease levy funds. These change orders are within the approved budget for this project. |
VI.J. Call for Request for Proposal - Nutritional Services Primary Vendor Contract
Description:
The Administration recommends that the Board of Education authorize a Call for Request for Proposal for Nutritional Services Primary Vendor to be due by 2:00 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday, April 19, 2016.

VI.K. North Junior High School Addition/Remodel Change Order Totaling +$8,280.00
Description:
The Administration recommends approval of the following change order for the above named project.
- Change Order #1 with J and H Erectors Inc. in the amount of +$8,280.00 to install angle at duct penetration on north corridor; modifications to second floor beam locations; framing connection detail to existing opening header; and modifications to corridor roof framing and connections to existing columns. This project is funded with capital lease levy funds. This change order is within the approved budget for this project. |
