Bonds, Series 2015A
The Administration recommends approval of a Resolution Ratifying the Award of the Sale, Determining the Form and Details, Authorizing the Execution, Delivery, and Alternative Facilities Bonds, Series 2015A. These bonds will finance the conversion of the HVAC Systems from steam boilers to hot water boilers within several of our buildings. The repayment of these bonds will be through the Alternative Facilities funding.

I.W. Bid Award - Energy Savings Performance Contracting Services
The Administration recommends that the Board of Education award the RFP for Energy Savings Performance Contracting Services to McKinstry Essention, LLC, in the amount of $3,406,818.00, based on low proposal received meeting specifications. A tabulation is attached. This project will be funded with Deferred Maintenance, Capital Outlay, and a Guaranteed Performance Contract.

I.X. Appointment of Surrogate Parent for Students with Disabilities
Description:
Minnesota rules require that school districts appoint surrogate parents for students with disabilities under the following conditions:
1. The parent, guardian, or conservator is unknown or unavailable. 2. The pupil is a ward of the commissioner of human services. 3. The parent requests in writing the appointment of a surrogate parent. The Administration recommends that the Board of Education appoint Taryn Nesbitas to act as a surrogate parent to represent students with disabilities because legal parents are unavailable. |
