Description:  The Administration recommends that the Board of Education award the bid for Earthwork/Utilities and Concrete Foundations/Footings for Clearview, North, and Kennedy Building Additions as follows, based on low bids received meeting specifications:

Clearview Elementary School Addition and Remodeling – Bid Package 1:

Contract 1 - Earthwork/Utilities
M.L. Schendzielos & Sons, Inc. - $115,000

Contract 2 - Aggregate Base, Bituminous Paving, Concrete Curb & Site Concrete
Hardrives, Inc. - $76,504

Contract 3 - Concrete Footings & Foundations
K. Johnson Construction - $104,454

North Junior High School Addition and Remodeling – Bid Package 1:

Contract 1 - Earthwork/Utilities
Landwehr Construction, Inc. - $302,033

Contract 2 - Aggregate Base, Bituminous Paving, Concrete Curb & Site Concrete
Hardrives, Inc. - $277,822

Contract 3 - Concrete Footings & Foundations
K. Johnson Construction - $118,779
 
The bid received from M. L. Schendzielos & Sons, Inc. for Contract 1 is being rejected due to non-responsive, incorrect bid that materially varies from the bidding requirements.
