Description:
At a Special Board Meeting on September 23, 2013, the Board of Education took action to approve an agreement between the St. Cloud Education Association and St. Cloud Area School District 742 for 2013-2015. Tracy Flynn Bowe, Executive Director of Human Resources, will review the details of the agreement.

Description:
Diane Moeller will provide information on the 2012-2013 Annual Report on Curriculum, Instruction and Student Achievement. This report must be approved for submission to the Minnesota Department of Education by October 1, 2013. Included in the report is information on the Curriculum and Instruction Advisory Committee, surveys, District testing and other teaching and learning items. A copy of the report is attached.

III.C. Resolution Regarding Granite Quarry Proposal Near Oak Hill Community School (ACTION)

Description:
The Granite Quarry Proposal was discussed at the Board Finance & Audit Committee meeting on September 24, 2013. Jerry Von Korff, member of the Board Finance and Audit Committee, will review a draft District Resolution written in response to the current Cold Spring Granite Company proposal for expansion of gravel operations near Oak Hill Community School. A copy of the Resolution is attached, along with a copy of a letter to the St. Cloud Planning and Zoning Department by Joni Olson, Principal of Oak Hill Community School.
The Administration recommends approval of the Resolution as presented.
