I.C. Acceptance of Grant Award
Description:

I.D. Proposed Lease with Little Saints Childcare
The Administration recommends approval of a lease with Little Saints Childcare for a portion of the former Wilson School. A copy of the lease is attached.

I.E. National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance Company (National IPA)
Minnesota Statute 471.59 authorizes governmental units to enter into cooperative purchasing agreements. There is no cost to the District to participate in these joint purchasing alliances. To enhance the District's buying power, the purchasing department wishes to participate in cooperative purchases, bids, and contracts with National IPA. The Administration recommends that the Board of Education authorize the Superintendent's designee to enter into a joint purchasing agreement with National IPA. |
II. DISCUSSION AND/OR ACTION ITEMS

II.A. Sale of Property Near Clearwater Road (ACTION)
Kevin Januszewski, Executive Director of Business Services, will review a Purchase Agreement received for the 9.5 acres of property located near Clearwater Road. The School District advertised this property for sale in the local newspaper for three weeks and received one offer for $275,000. The Purchase Agreement for this offer has been reviewed by the School Board Audit and Finance Committee and the District's legal counsel. A copy of the Purchase Agreement is attached. The Administration recommends approval of this Purchase Agreement with Abdul Rashid Salad for the sale of this property located near Clearwater Road in St. Cloud.

II.B. Request for Tax Abatement (ACTION)
The City of St. Cloud has requested a tax abatement for taxes on a project involving Heatherwood Development, LLC and Marco, Inc. for the development of an approximately 70,960 square foot corporate headquarters and distribution center for Marco to be located at I-94 and Heatherwood Road. The Administration will bring a resolution for approval to the School Board meeting pending approval from other Government agencies. |
