4.a. Approval of SB 1882 Professional Staff Member Contract for Summer Professional Development

6. CLOSED SESSION: The superintendent requests that the Board of Trustees convene in closed meeting as authorized by the provisions of the Open Meeting Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code. This executive session is in accordance with the Texas Government Code Section:

6.a. 551.074 for the purpose of discussing personnel, considering appointment, employment, resignation, retirement, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

6.a.1. Discussion and action to non-renew the chapter 21 contracts of (JP, IF)

6.a.2. Discussion regarding the employment of Chief Financial Officer.

6.b. Consultation with legal counsel regarding a.) pending or contemplated litigation b.) settlement offer; or c.) matter in which the duty of the attorney to Edcouch-Elsa Independent School under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code (TX.Gov't. Code 551.071)
