7.F. Field Trip to New York City for HHS Band - EXHIBIT D
Description:
The superintendent recommends approval of an overnight field trip to New York City for Howell High School band students in grades 9-12 to participate in a clinic by one of the cover conductors of the New York Philharmonic and to attend and participate in numerous musical and cultural events, April 23-26, 2020, as shown in Exhibit D.

8.A.1) Recommendation of Reinstatement Committee (Case #150)
Description:
Approval of the Reinstatement Committee's recommendation to grant the request for reinstatement of the student identified in Case #150 to Howell Public Schools.

8.A.2) Recommendation of Reinstatement Committee (Case #157)
Description:
Approval of the Reinstatement Committee's recommendation to grant the request for reinstatement of the student identified in Case #157 with the conditions that the student (a) continue to participate in outside individual and group counseling as well as Community Mental Health Wrap Around Services and provide documentation regarding this once a month to administration; (b) check in with administration and/or school counselor every two weeks; (c) participate in restorative meeting with the teacher identified in the incident immediately preceding his expulsion, if the teacher is amenable to such a meeting; (d) strongly encourage the student to enroll in AFJROTC once he is eligible to do so as a 9th grader; and (e) student will remain on strict probation for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.
