3.B. Community Consolidated School District 89 is honoring community members who share their time and talents with our students. This month, the district is celebrating Debbie Hatmaker, a retired CCSD 89 teacher who has continued to give back to the music program. For the last decade, Hatmaker has returned to Glen Crest Middle School to be the accompanist for band, choir, and orchestra concerts, as well as student solo and ensemble performances. Hatmaker's joy for music continues to put a song in the hearts of countless CCSD 89 students.
