II.A. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.0821, deliberation regarding a matter involving a public school student which may reveal personally identifiable information about the student.
Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee.
Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 552.082, to deliberate in a case involving discipline of a public school child, or in which a complaint or charge is brought against an employee of the school district by another employee and the complaint or charge directly results in a need for a hearing.
Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, to consult with the District's attorney, in person or by phone, to seek the advice regarding pending or contemplated litigation, a settlement offer, or on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

II.A.1. Consultation with the Board’s attorney regarding procedural issues related to Level III Appeal Hearing.

II.A.2. Pursuant to Board Policy FNG (LEGAL) and FNG (LOCAL), conduct the Level III Appeal Hearing regarding an appeal filed by an NISD parent.

II.B. Deliberation on appeal and consultation with the Board’s attorney regarding the Level III Appeal Hearing.

III.A. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071: For the purpose of a private consultation with the Board’s attorney, in person or by telephone, about: pending or contemplated litigation; or a settlement offer; or a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the Board under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

III.B. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.072: For the purpose of deliberating the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the Board in negotiations with a third person. Consider property acquisition for future school sites.

III.C. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074: For the purpose of deliberating the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee, unless the officer or employee who is the subject of the deliberation or hearing requests an open hearing.
