Description:
PERTINENT FACTS The Education CTE Program of Study (CTEPS) consists of four courses: EDU 1, EDU 2, EDU 3, and EDU 4. These courses have all been entered into the CTE Portal on the AK Department of Education and Early Development website, and can be viewed by selecting the course in the table below:
Approving the Education CTEPS will enable Perkins Grant funds to be used with costs associated with the courses, such as as student travel, substitute teachers, teacher stipends, tuition for dual credit courses, etc. Each of these courses has the associated Crosswalk which details information such as the course number, source of occupational standards, recognized Post-Secondary Credential, topic headings, summative assessments and standards, and Alaska State Standards alignment.
