5. Discussion on Feasibility Information

Discussion:
The Board of Education began the discussion by eliminating options from the feasibility study. Options needing to build classrooms or transport elementary students were not very appealing to Board members, thus eliminating all except A-10 and A-11 and B-10 B-11. C options were also left for consideration, but more discussion of those options needs to take place.
All Board members and Administrators will share questions with the committee members so as many concerns as possible can be addressed at their meetings with the other districts.
The Board discussed some of the options and how those options would affect the tax levies for patrons of the districts along with different curricular offerings (Ag vs. ITE) and current staff numbers. While these things were discussed, specifics like busing, curriculum, staffing are things difficult to address a specific plan is in place.
Prior to meeting with the other districts to discuss options the Board will receive public input at the next regularly scheduled meeting on Feb. 10th. Once the Board has met with the other districts they will formulate options and schedule community input options.
